Korean Beef Libs

Try this easy way to make Korean Beef Ribs. Broiled in the oven for the same amount of time! Enjoy with a warm bowl of Thai King Fragrant Rice.

  • 3 – 4 cups Thai King Fragrant rice (cooked)
  • 3/4 cup Soya sauce
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 3 tbsp White vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 large Onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp White sugar
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper
  • 3 pounds Short Ribs
  • Mix Vege (carrots, celery, mushrooms etc.)
  1. Add 2 cups of rice with 3 cups of water. ( Add 1:1.5 cup water for every cup of rice )
  2. Cook rice with a rice cooker.
  3. In a small bowl, combine soya sauce, water, vinegar and sesame oil. Whisk in onion, garlic, brown sugar, white sugar and pepper, whisking until sugars dissolve.
  4. Add in the ribs to marinade then refrigerate 7-12 hours. The longer the better.
  5. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-heat. Remove ribs from marinade and shake off the excess; discard marinade.
  6. Cook on the preheated grill until the meat is no longer pink, 5-7 minutes per side with the mix vegetables. Serve with Thai King Fragrant Rice!
